Alphonso season is one-of-a-kind, and so is this batch. It was designed around a single star: the Devgad Alphonso mango.
One of India’s most prized seasonal fruits, Alphonso brings a very lush sweetness, a floral richness, and a creamy pulp that borders on velvet. The mangoes we use arrive ripe from the Konkan coast.
Only culinary expertise can curate such a unique sauce: using a single spice with just enough finesse to let the fruit shine.
It’s a silky, tropical, and hot mango sauce, with just enough acidity to keep it from feeling cloying. On the tongue, you first get that buttery Alphonso richness, then the chilli lifts it and lingers with a sweet burn.
Brush it on grilled prawns, or spoon it over cream cheese. It is summer in a bottle.

These mangoes came in from one farm, ripened for exactly the right number of days, and went straight into production. Seasonal mangoes are only available for a limited time, and so is this sauce.
