Ingredients
- 4 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or iceberg)
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced bell peppers (any colour)
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced cucumber
- 1/2 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1/2 cup Root-Free | Slow Cooked Black Bean Sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare Vegetables: In a bowl, combine sliced bell peppers, sliced cucumber, and cooked chickpeas. Toss with Root-Free | Slow Cooked Black Bean Sauce and season with salt and pepper.
- Assemble Wraps: Lay out lettuce leaves. Spoon the vegetable mixture into the centre of each leaf.
- Drizzle and Garnish: Drizzle with sesame oil and sprinkle with sesame seeds if desired.
- Serve: Fold the lettuce leaves around the filling to create wraps. Serve immediately as a fresh and crunchy meal.
